Why use MP3? Winamp plays AAC+ natively, Real Player Free now also plays AAC+, Windows Media Player with Orban plugin plays AAC+... What for?
MP3 is universally supported. AAC+ is not quite there yet. RealPlayer does NOT play AAC+ (only regular AAC).

Who cares for Real Player!?!

One which will be sacrifice is Real Player. Who cares for Real Player!?! (not to offend Real fanatics) There is only 2 competing audio stream player, Winamp which is pro MPEG/AAC, and Windows Media Player which always patronize its own technology WMA. I think every PC now a days, if no Real Player, either it has Winamp or Windows Media Player.

I'll rank these players from popular down to rarely use.
^ Winamp
| Windows Media Player
| iTunes/Quicktime
| VLC - the cross-platform media player
| Real
^ Quicktime Alternative

Oust Real Player!!!
Right now i am listening Soft n Easy using VLC Media Player, works great!
