Soft 'N Easy Net Radio

im really enjoying listening to soft & easy and hoping that sir Dave will also play some jazzy songs from Lee Ritenour such as "It is you and "Dreamwalking", songs of Anita Baker, Spyro Gyra's tracks with vocals in Love and other Obsession album, Earl Klugh's "Living inside your love", Sergio Mendes' "Take This Love and Rainbow's End, and from other popular jazz artists...i know sir Dave wouldnt disappoint us..
I do play "Is it You" by Lee Ritenour. It's scheduled to play later today. I had forgotten about "Rainbows End" and I would like to add "Morning Dance" bySpyro Gyra. As mentioned in a previous post I am compiling a list of songs to add. It's just a matter of finding the money to buy the songs. Thanks for the feedback gentlemen!

Ipinakilala ko nga pala ang SoftNEasy sa mga kaibigan ko sa Davao. Mabuti naman at nasiyahan sila. Ang SoftNEasy na ang official internet radio ng office nila. Hahaha. Alam mo na.. kapag walang internet.. WRock 95.5MHz is the only terrestrial FM ang pinapakinggan nila.

I just wonder why Filipinos love to listen English song. Bakit kapag kumakanta tayo ng Tagalog/Bisaya song, kinakantyawan tayo? Ganun ba talaga katindi ang inpluwensya ng kano sa atin?

Hookay Bernard,funny though myself had just a handful of english in my brains, but per your request and to let everybody knows a little bit of our language..here?s what Bernard said on his previous post?

He?s quiet happy to know that both of us are great fans of Soft & Easy, indeed he?s listening to it all day long specially during weekends. He even introduces Soft & Easy to his friends in Davao City ..(by the way..Bernard?s place is around 5 hours bus trip to my home place in Davao City..correct me if I?m wrong Bernard?) and it became their official internet radio in their offices, and only diverted to listen to local FM station (Wrock 95.5 which plays identical music with Soft & Easy) when the internet connections gone wrong.

Yeah really, it became an instinct to Filipinos to prefer English songs rather than the locals, that?s the reason why when we try to belt out local songs (in KTV or Karaoke bars), you will be often called ridiculous and cant help wondering why how deep American/English influences our taste for music.

During my teenage days, I used to listen to Radio Romance Davao (now MOR 101.1). Now that i am getting old, my taste of music changed. I prefer to listen to Easy-Listening genre. Wahhhhhhhhh! Happy to hear that you also like Time by Alan Parson Project. This is one of my personal fave! Sir Dave played this for me several times!

Davao FM stations mostly are in 10 Kilowatts of power. MOR and iFM is 25KW i think. Our place is a bit elevated and if you take a look at the map, southern part of Bukidnon has a big possibily to be reach by the signal. 10KW can reach more that a hundred of kilmeters in radius. But still we are suffering on signal interference. That is why we use TV antenna in picking up clearer signal from FM station in davao. Before 1995, we can only tuned to FM Radio station in davao. But right now.. we have 3 fm station in Bukidnon. But again there is no W-Rock style fm station here. Still tuning to 95.5 hahahahhahaha.
